Carol Lorraine Hill

Carol Hill, 73, died Saturday, November 10, 2018 in Boise following a brief illness. Carol was born in Blackfoot, ID in 1945 to James Ward and Glennavon Wirick Ward. She married Gary Betts in 1961 and together they raised 4 children; before ending their marriage. Carol was remarried to Howard Shoemake who preceded her in death in 1998. She found love again in Milton Hill and was married to him for 17 years prior to her passing. She retired as a District Manager for Jacksons in 2017. Carol is survived by her sisters, Donna Reavis, Patsy Stoore, Glenna Millard and Sandra Hale; and her brother, James Ward. She is also survived by her children, Cheryl Betts, Shelly Fletcher, Kevin Betts, and Randi Tietz. She has 2 grandsons, 7 granddaughters and one great-grandson. She is preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers; and 4 sisters. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11 am at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID, with a viewing for one hour prior. Interment will follow at the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
