Carol Ann Hill, 49 of Pocatello, Idaho passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014. She was the seventh child born to Patricia and Walter Bergman, on October 14, 1964 in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Her childhood was spent living in Rocky Boy, MT, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Shelley, ID. She later moved to Pocatello, ID where she attended Pocatello High School. She then finished receiving her high school diploma in San Juan Capistrano, California.
Carol married Phillip Hill, June 25, 1983 in Pocatello, Idaho. They then moved to San Clemente, CA for Phillip to pursue his career in the Marine Corps. The couple then relocated to Fallbrook, CA. There they welcomed their first born daughter, Lacie M. Hill, March 1, 1986. They then moved to Bridgeport, CA and later on December 16, 1987 they traveled to Reno, NV to welcome their second daughter, Holly L. Hill. The family then resided in Jacksonville, NC for 10 years. Upon Phillip's retirement from the military, the family moved back and resided in Pocatello, ID.
Carol enjoyed many outdoor adventures including fishing, camping, boating, riding motorcycles and just simply enjoying nature. She was also very creative and enjoyed various crafting activities. She loved watching movies and playing slot machines. Her greatest joy was being with her four grandbabies; Jersey, Kylie, Xzavier and Julian.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Tom Bergman and father-in-law, Lowell Hill.
Carol is survived by: her husband, Phillip Hill, Pocatello, ID; her children, Lacie (Clayton) Facer, Chubbuck, ID, Holly (Anthony) Valadez, Peoria, AZ; siblings, Robert (Kathy) Bergman, Kent, WA, Marilyn (Kim) Larsen, Firth, ID, Patrick (Kim) Bergman, Thorton, CO, Sheryl (Arv) Shroeder, Chelias, WA, John Bergman, Idaho Falls, ID, Mike Bergman, Worland, WY & Terry Squires, Idaho Falls, ID; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Fri., June 6, 2014 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Rd, Chubbuck, ID. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thur., June 5, 2014 at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Friday. Interment will follow services at the Mountain View Cemetery.
