Carmen Paulina Perez

Carmen Paulina Perez, 87, passed away in Blackfoot, Idaho on October 21, 2024. 

Carmen was born in San Simeon Xipetzinco, Tlaxcala, Mexico on June 6, 1937. She lived most of her life there until she moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where she lived with her daughter Roberta until Spring of 2024. She then moved to Blackfoot, Idaho due to health issues and resided with Mary and Nicolas Perez. 

Carmen married Felipe Perez-Garcia in 1969 in the Catholic Church. They spent 38 years together and had 11 children who they loved more than anything. Carmen lost her loving husband in 2007 and has missed him ever since. 

Carmen had a love for cooking, hand embroidery, dancing, but her biggest pride was her family. She loved having everyone together no matter the occasion. 

Carmen is survived by her children daughter, Silvia (Arturo) of Mexico, son, Martin of Jackson, WY, son, Jose (Rosa) of Victor, ID, daughter, Lourdes (Demetrio) of Driggs ID, son, Noe (Eva) of Star Valley, WY, son, Valentine (Rosa) of Jackson, WY, son, Genaro (Flor) of Jackson, WY, son, Nicolas (Mary) of Blackfoot, ID, and daughter, Roberta (Efrain) of Jackson, WY, and many grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Felipe Perez-Garcia; children, Celiflora and Emma; and daughter in-law, Maria Silvia.

The family would like to thank Mary Perez for her outpouring of love and care towards our Mom and Grandma, we will never be able to repay you for your time and undivided attention. We would also like to thank Heritage Hospice for their time and care. 

Services will be held on October 26, 2024 at Grand Teton Funeral Home from 4 PM - 8 PM 

Carmen Paulina Pérez, de 87 años, falleció en Blackfoot, Idaho, el 21 de octubre de 2024. 

Carmen nació en San Simeón Xipetzinco, Tlaxcala, México el 6 de junio de 1937. Vivió la mayor parte de su vida allí hasta que se mudó a Jackson Hole, Wyoming donde vivió con su hija Roberta hasta la primavera de 2024. Luego se mudó a Blackfoot, Idaho por problemas de salud y residió con Mary y Nicolas Perez.

 Carmen se casó con Felipe Pérez-García en 1969 en la Iglesia Católica. Pasaron 38 años juntos y tuvieron 11 hijos a quienes amaban más que a nada. Carmen perdió a su amado esposo en 2007 y lo ha extrañado desde entonces.

 A Carmen le encantaba cocinar, bordar a mano, bailar, pero su mayor orgullo era su familia. Le encantaba tener a todos juntos sin importar la ocasión. 

A Carmen le sobreviven sus hijos, hija, Silvia (Arturo) de México, hijo, Martin de Jackson, WY, hijo, José (Rosa) de Victor, ID, hija, Lourdes (Demetrio) de Driggs ID, hijo, Noe (Eva) de Star Valley, WY, hijo, Valentine (Rosa) de Jackson, WY, hijo, Genaro (Flor) de Jackson, WY, hijo, Nicolas (Mary) de Blackfoot, ID, e hija, Roberta (Efrain) de Jackson, WY y muchos nietos.

 Le precedieron en la muerte su esposo Felipe Pérez García; los niños, Celiflora y Emma; y nuera, María Silvia.La familia desea agradecer a Mary Pérez por su gran amor y cuidado hacia nuestra mamá y nuestra abuela. Nunca podremos pagarle por su tiempo y atención total. También nos gustaría agradecer a Heritage Hospice por su tiempo y atención.

 Los servicios se llevarán a cabo el 26 de octubre de 2024 en Grand Teton Funeral Home de 4 p. m. a 8 p. m.
