Carl David Wilson passed away unexpectedly in his home on October 19th, 2022 at the age of 69. Carl was born in Annapolis Maryland to Peggy and Carl B. Wilson in 1953.
Carl’s father was in the Navy and they moved around often. After a few years in Annapolis, they moved to Garden Grove California before spending 2 years in Guam while his father was stationed there. He enjoyed exploring and finding memorabilia with his friends. Carl attended high school in Las Vegas, Nevada. Carl earned his certificate in welding from Snow College in 1978. Carl then began working in parts of Utah, and later moved to Pocatello, Idaho.
Carl and his wife Silvia Wilson were married on August 10th, 2007. They dated for 5 years before that. They often spent time together laughing and having fun doing various things.
Carl was a long-time member of the local 648 Plumbers and Pipefitters union in Pocatello, Idaho. He worked many different jobs throughout his time as a union Pipefitter and worked alongside many people who were also his good friends. Carl always expressed gratitude for those friendships he made.
Carl often spent his time with friends outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, catching crabs, and being outdoors. When Carl was not outdoors, he was inside watching football, hockey, curling, or golf which were his other passions.
Carl is survived by his wife, Silvia; his parents, Carl and Peggy Wilson; sister, Carol Wilson; children, Matthew Wilson, and Angela Wilson, stepchildren, Trent Young, and Heather Young; and grandchildren, Konor, Maeson, Aiden, Julian, and Emma.
There will be a celebration of life announced by the family soon.
