PLEASE NOTE THE MONDAY NIGHT VIEWING LOCATION HAS CHANGED TO COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME Bruce L. Baker Jr., 47, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at a care center in Blackfoot, ID. He was born on January 22, 1968 to Bruce Sr. and Peggy Baker. Bruce attended Lava Elementary and when he was in the 8 th grade, he was diagnosed with cancer but continued his education graduating from Marsh Valley high School in 1987. He worked at Deseret Industries and as a dish washer at the Silver Grill. He was an Elder in the LDS Church and was a Sacrament Meeting greeter. He was also a seminary graduate. Bruce loved camping, reading, word search puzzles, and playing cards. He loved music and dancing. Most importantly, he loved helping his mom. He didnt know a stranger and was a friend to everyone. Bruce is survived by his parents, Bruce and Peggy Baker of McCammon, ID; two brothers, Sidney Baker of Kimberly, ID, and Wayne Baker of Pocatello, ID; 2 nieces, Bryana and Sierra; 4 nephews, Jarod, Adam, Dillon, and Dustin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a sister, DiAnna Baker. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 11 AM at the LDS McCammon Stake Building, 403 W. 16 th St. McCammon, ID 83250 with a viewing for one hour prior to services at the church. Family will receive friends on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID 208-233-1500 . Burial will follow the services at the Lava Hot Springs Cemetery, 11242 South Dempsey Creek Road, Lava Hot Springs, ID 83246.
