Breana Nashel Busick was born on September 26, 1994, in Burley, Idaho. She passed away, way too soon, at age 27 years old, in Medford, Oregon, on April 29, 2022.
Breana moved around a lot during her younger years. She started school by attending Kindergarten in Meridian, Idaho. She then attended 1st grade in Hansen, Idaho, 2nd-4th grade in Twin Falls, Idaho, 5th-6th grade in Burley, Idaho, then moved to Pocatello, Idaho, at the beginning of her 7th grade year, where she remained for the rest of her schooling. Breana excelled in school and was in honors classes in 7th grade so when it came time to register for 8th grade, she was going to have to go to the high school for some of her classes so she ended up just skipping 8th grade and going into 9th grade instead (in 7th grade, she tested above a 12th grade level in Math, Reading, and Science.) Breana continued to excel in school and she graduated from Highland High School in 2012 with high honors and with college credits from Idaho State University (ISU.) She then enrolled at ISU where she was in the Honors Program. She took a break from college then returned to ISU and enrolled in the electronics program to follow in her dad’s footsteps. She then completed Cosmetology School and loved doing hair.
Breana had a passion for fishing since she was a little girl – she absolutely loved to fish! She loved being outdoors and loved to camp. Breana loved spending time with her family (especially her little sister) and enjoyed doing anything crafty. She loved anything Nightmare Before Christmas, anything with flamingos, anything with owls, anything with flowers (Sunflowers and Daffodils particularly,) and anything with dragonflies and butterflies that would remind her of her niece who preceded her in death.
Breana was very intelligent, sweet, kind-hearted, and loving. Almost any time you saw Breana, she would have a smile on her face and a bow or headband in her hair. She loved to dress up.
Breana was very loved by many and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Breana is survived by her parents, Kevin and Jenifer Busick of Chubbuck, Idaho; sister, Breighlee (and her husband, Owen) Todakozie, Chubbuck, Idaho; maternal grandparents, Robert and Ronda Clark, Hansen, Idaho; paternal grandmother, Kathleen May, Rupert, Idaho; uncle, Brad (and his wife, Jessica) Clark, Burley, Idaho; uncle, Brandan Clark, Hansen, Idaho; uncle, Tyson Clark, Kimberly, Idaho; uncle, Brandon (and his wife, Amanda) Busick, Laramie, Wyoming; uncle, Jeff (and his wife, Weslianne) Lewis, Boise, Idaho; uncle, Gary Lewis, Casper, Wyoming; uncle, Camdon Wright, Buffalo, New York; aunt, Jessica Gell, Yakima, Washington; niece, Octavia Todakozie, Chubbuck, Idaho; and various cousins, great-aunts, and great-uncles.
Breana was preceded in death by her brother, Zachary Joseph Busick, and her niece, Stormy Rae Todakozie.

If you are attending the service, Breana wouldn’t have wanted everyone dressed in black. She loved color and flowers. The family requests that you wear something colorful and bright.
Instead of flowers, a Go Fund Me page has been organized by Breighlee Todakozie to help with the funeral costs ( https://gofund.me/e97a6b21 ) or donations can be sent via Venmo to @Jenifer-Busick. Donations are not expected but are greatly appreciated.
