Bonnie Luker

Bonnie Eloise Rogerson Luker, 74, passed away of natural causes February 6, 2012 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Bonnie was the first born child of Eva and Howard Rogerson. She was the eldest of five children; a brother, Jerry, sisters, Carol, Elaine, and Nancy. She married her high school sweetheart, Harold E. Luker on February 17, 1956 in Pocatello, Idaho. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple March 5, 1957. They were blessed with twelve children; Arva Lynn, Julie, Janet, David, Craig, Dan, Wayne, Bryce, Lisa, Scott, LaVon, and Seth. Faith and family were foremost in her life. Bonnie's extraordinary kindness and compassion were well known to her family and to the LDS community. She is survived by her high school sweetheart of 56 years, Harold E. Luker. Her devotion to family and faith live on in her 69 living descendants; including 11 children, 47 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Arva Lynn, and her father Howard Rogerson, and a sister Elaine Rogerson. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the LDS Valley View Ward, 1422 Gwen Dr, Pocatello, with Bishop Roger Hancock, officiating. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello and one hour prior to the services at the church.
