Bonnie J. Lewis

Bonnie Jean Lewis passed away peacefully on June 5, 2016 at her home of natural causes.
Bonnie was born March 15, 1955 in Pocatello, Idaho to Earl and Shirley Foresee. She was the fourth child of six children.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and sister. She had an undying love for her family, especially her sons, Mark and Jeremy. She was also blessed to have a granddaughter Shirley (Jeremy) of who was her pride and joy.

She attended schools in Pocatello including Greenacres Elementary, Alameda Junior High, and Highland High School.

She met the love of her life, Terry Lewis, in 1977. They later married on August 10, 1979. Together they had two sons, Mark on August 17, 1980, and Jeremy on February 4, 1982. Her boys were the light of her life and she loved them with all her heart.

Bonnie held several jobs in her life (mostly to spoil her children). She loved all her jobs and all the people she worked for and with, she considered them all her friends. She had the opportunity to work with two of her sisters (Randi and Mel) at the Holiday Inn, and they had great fun together. Another favorite was working as a school bus driver; she loved children and enjoyed that very much. She received many gifts from people to thank her for the joy she brought them.
Bonnie was a very proud woman and always took great pride in herself. She kept her home immaculately clean, and her yard was always the most beautiful in the neighborhood.

Bonnie had a beautiful free spirit and lived a very full life. She enjoyed life and everyone that came across it. Even strangers would be a friend within a few minutes. She had a way with people like no one else. She touched so many lives with her fun loving personality and her outrageous humor. She would light up a room when she entered, and was always the life of the party. Loving her was a privilege. She brought so much joy to everyone, especially her family. There are really no words to describe how much she was loved and how much she'll be missed. She was a light in our lives that no one will ever replace. She will forever live in the hearts of all that knew and loved her. Surely heaven's in an uproar with her arrival spreading her joy and laughter. So long until we're together again our beautiful Bonnie. Goodbye my beautiful wife Bonnie. I will hold you in my heart forever. Your loving husband, Terry.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband Terry Lewis; her beautiful sons Mark Lewis and Jeremy Lewis; her precious granddaughter Shirley; her sisters Sherry (Ray) Berry, Randi (Terry) Shumway, Joyce Garton, and Melony (Ralph) Bennet; along with many other relatives that she dearly loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother John.
As per Bonnie's wishes, she requested to be cremated and no funeral. The family will have a special memorial in her honor for her family and friends at a later date.
