Bobbie J Going

November 12, 1947 — November 14, 2013

Bobbie J. Going, 66, passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday, November 14, 2013. Bobbie was born November 12, 1947 in Center, Texas to Ellis Kulbeth and Cleo Ellison. She was the third of four children. She was crowned Homecoming Queen her Senior year in high school.
Bobbie was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and a great friend to all who knew her. She was a very loving and giving person. She had a very strong work ethic which provided for herself and her family, which was only matched by her compassion and generosity to those friends and family who may have fallen on times of need. She would often times go without to make sure others didn't. She was not only devoted to her family but to her work also. Bobbie was employed at Kraft Foods and had worked for them for 18 years at the time it announced its closing. She worked for Kraft right up to the last day they were open here, and chose not to transfer to California. She remained employed at the same building for the next 12-plus years being employed with: Ore-Ida Foods, Weight Watchers and retiring from Heinz.
Bobbie was determined to get through the tough times of raising her two girls and made sure they had everything they needed; she never quit! If she wasn't working, she and her long time friend, and partner Gene Craig could be found loading up the horses for either a 4-H practice with the Choctaw Riders, or in different directions to either Cindy's Rodeo Queening events, or Jodi's Junior Rodeo, or high school rodeo events that in later years included her grandson, Stetson; becoming the highlight of her life. She deeply loved her family, friends, neighbors and horses. The world has lost a very special lady and we will miss her dearly.
A VERY SPECIAL "THANKS" and acknowledgement to her neighbor Kathy Gagon for your love, support and help over the years! To Gene Craig for his lifetime dedication, and love to mom and us girls. Lloyd Watson for his love and support, and the Maldonaldo family, and to all that held a special spot in her heart. To Wilks Funeral Home for all the help and support during this difficult time and for all who knew "Mom."
Bobbie is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Going of Chubbuck; Jodi (Timothy) Walker of Inkom; grandson, Stetson Pack of Inkom; her brother, Charles Smith of Texas; and her sister, Sue Black of Cottonwood, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis Kulbeth; Cleo Drozd; step-dad, Ike Drozd; and her sister, Linda Dickey of Texas.
