Bobbie Edward Anderson, a long time resident of Leadore Idaho passed away on February 11th, 2011 at the Idaho State Veterans Home of Pocatello. Bobbie was 83 years old. He was born February 14, 1927 in Thornton Idaho. He was the youngest of 4 Children of John and Emma Anderson. Bobbie spent most of his life in the Lemhi Valley, a place that he held dear in his heart. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with his friends and family. Most of his working career was spent on various ranches in the Lemhi Valley, but he also enjoyed core drilling in the western states with Dave Udy. Bobbie Served in the Army Air Core, and was also a member of the American Legion. Bobbie had quite a family whom he loved dearly. With Doris Hill he had 5 Children, and during his second Marriage to Kaye Mundy he helped raise 5 more children. At the time of his death he had 28 Grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren with one more on the way! His surviving siblings are Dere Anderson and Ruth Smith both of Leadore Idaho. His wife Kaye Anderson resides in Salmon Idaho. He is also survived by 9 children; Jeannie Peterson (Randy), Gary Anderson (Sherri), Rick Anderson (Sharon), Kyle Anderson (Val), Dan King (Darci), Loretta Holmes, Kara Lowe (Steve), Willy Mundy (Sara), and Theresa Mundy. He is proceeded in death by his brother Russel Anderson, his son Rocky Anderson, and his great grandson Kelly Anderson. He was a wonderful man who left a wonderful legacy. He will be sorely missed. Services will be held at the Leadore High School on February 19th at 1:00 pm.
