POCATELLO-Blake M. Freeman passed away suddenly Thursday Jan 5 th at Portneuf Med. Center from natural causes. He was born July 11 th 1951 in Pocatello to Paul A. and Phyllis J. (Selle) Freeman. He graduated from Highland H.S. and attended ISU. Blake began his career at J.R. Simplot Co. at the age of 18 in the maintenance dept., and eventually went on to become a crane operator. He retired after 37 years. He had a great love of the outdoors and spent most of his free time hunting and fishing in Idaho and Alaska. He was a man of great character and would do anything for a friend or neighbor. He will be missed dearly by his family. He is survived by his brother R. Kole Freeman, sister Tierza (Henrik) Voldbaek, sister-in-law Karen Freeman and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul A. Freeman, mother, Phyllis J. Freeman, brother, Drake O. Freeman and infant brother, Paul Freeman and sister-in-law, Paula Lang freeman. Graveside services will be held Monday Jan. 9 th at 11:00 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors by the Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard. At Blake's request there will be no public visitation.
