Blair Newell Anderson, 66, went home to be with his heavenly father November 2, 2009. He was born August 17, 1943 in Pocatello, Idaho to Newel Carl Anderson and Velma Anderson. He was the oldest of 8 children. Blair graduated from Pocatello high school in 1961. He was called to serve a full time mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1962 for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Blair also served in the church as a member of the bishopric and Quorum of the seventies. After returning home from his mission he met and later married LaVerne Tilton in the Idaho Falls temple on June 9, 1966. They had 6 wonderful children. During their marriage Blair owned his own business, know as Mr. First aid. With 20 years of marriage they later divorced. Times were rough but then changed when he met and later married Karen Beason in the Idaho Falls temple on January 10, 1987. Together they were blessed with a handsome boy in October 1989, and later divorced. Being an entrepreneur Blair continued his career as a salesman with his business, First Aid Systems. Throughout his life he served as a teacher to the Red Cross educating people on first aid and CPR. His continuous love for mechanics, lead him to be an instructor for ISU College of technology.
