Beverly G. Thorpe

Beverly Gail Thorpe, 72, of Chubbuck, Idaho, passed away peacefully from natural causes at her home on February 16, 2025. She was born on December 9, 1952, in Pocatello, Idaho.

Beverly dedicated her life to retail and customer service, where her kindness and genuine care for others shone brightly. She was a funny, kind, and intelligent woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A voracious reader, Beverly also possessed a sharp mind and was a formidable opponent in Yahtzee, and she enjoyed the challenge of crossword puzzles.

She was a devoted mother to Jason Smith and Jennifer Ballard, and a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Family was the center of her world, and she cherished the time spent with them. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Beverly was the widow of both Charles Hallbert and Donald Thorpe.

She is survived by her children, Jason Smith and Jennifer Ballard; her sister, Kristine Babb; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, David and John Bullock; and her husbands, Charles Hallbert and Donald Thorpe.

There will be no services held.
