Beverly Rene Cole

Beverly Rene Cole, 89, left this earth on September 5, 2017 as a result of complications due to pneumonia. She was born on April 15, 1928 to Joe and Norene Halford. She was the oldest of four children; Devon Timpson, Sheryl Savage, both of Pocatello, and Larry Halford of Kansas. She graduated from Pocatello High School. She married Donald L. Cole on August 10, 1949 in the Idaho Falls Temple. They recently celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary. She was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Relief Society President for many years. She had a beautiful voice and often sang at weddings and funerals. Beverly is survived by her husband, Donald L. Cole; five children, Greg (Laurie) Cole, Douglass, Jeffrey (Patty), Shane (Colleen), Sheila Cole Gustaveson. She had 16 grandchildren, Heather, Michelle, Jennifer, Amber, Brooke, Zachary, Tasia, Tabitha, Torrie, Taylor, Spencer, Rachel, Mary, Grant, Casey and Carly; 20 great-grandchildren, Taya, Addison, Kenyan, Kingston, Makensie, Dakota, Nash, Kyle, Zayn, Kai, Satoshi, Gabby, Jaxon, Kyah, Keon, Kyndrik, Maleke, Lailah, Benson and Eliza; and was soon to be a great-great-grandmother. She lived for her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her youngest son, Blake Cole. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11 am at the LDS Pocatello West Stake Building, located at 3444 Hawthorne Rd. Pocatello, ID (Hawthorne & Eldredge). The family will meet with friends and family from 9:30-11 am prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, ID.
