Betty Moon

Betty Jane Moon, 71, passed away early Wednesday morning, April 29, 2009, of a sudden illness, at a local critical care unit. Betty was born March 23, 1938 in Berks County, PA, to Leroy Matthew and Dorothy A. Miller Matthew. She graduated from N. Lebanon High School in Jonestown, PA. She enjoyed reading, writing, sewing, fishing and swimming. She married Orlin C. Moon on November 8, 1959. Shortly thereafter, they returned to his home state of Idaho, where they began their family, raising two sons. For many years they raised and trained quarter horses, until the mid 1990
