Betty I Mullins

Betty Ilene Mullins, 88, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. She was born on November 22, 1929 to Arch and Rosalind Findlay. Betty grew up in the Blackfoot, ID area. She attended school through the 10 th grade at which time she left to help her parents with the family farm. Betty married Howard Mullins. He passed away in 1999. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; serving in primary, as a softball coach, and many, many years as a ward Librarian. Betty loved life. She loved to "Go" anywhere; especially with her sister, Delores, or trips to Palisades. She loved fishing, camping, Pinochle, sports (especially watching kids and grandkids) and absolutely everything family. Betty is survived by her son, Kurt Mullins, Pocatello, ID, daughter, Dixie McVeety, Pocatello, ID, daughter, Sue Mullins, Pocatello, ID, daughter, Cheryl Mullins, Pocatello, ID, daughter, Paula (Michael) Valentine, Willard, UT, son, Mark (Debbie) Mullins, Pocatello, ID; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; 4 sisters; 1 brother; husband, Howard "Moon" Mullins; grandsons, Joshua Mullins and Matthew Mullins; granddaughter, Christina Ogborn; and son-in-law, David McVeety. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, with a viewing for one hour prior. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho 83204.
