Betty G. Zahm

February 24, 1926 — July 9, 2017

Betty G. Zahm, 91, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 9, 2017. Betty is survived by her four children; Farrell Glenn Larsen (Florida), Cheryle Ann Larsen Lemmon, E. Jay (Susan) Larsen and Larry Howard (Nina) Zahm of Pocatello; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Betty was an avid shopper who loved Christmas, square dancing, playing Pinochle and Dominoes, sending Birthday cards with a crisp dollar bill to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, collecting trinkets, porcelain dolls and Christmas decorations and eating out at her favorite restaurants. She retired from Kraft/Heinz to spend her summers at her cabin in Island Park and winter as a snowbird in Arizona and California with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Howard, sisters Jean and Pauline, granddaughter Cherilyn and grandson, Craig. Betty was a spit-fire, spunky and full of life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her family will receive friends for her viewing and Celebration of Life on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 beginning at noon at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road. A luncheon will be provided. The funeral procession will depart for Restlawn Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. for the dedication of the grave. Condolences may be sent to the family online at wilksfuneralhome.com.
