In Loving Memory of Becky Lynne Hendricks

Born November 12, 1956 – August 8, 2023.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Becky, who left this world on August 8th in her home. After years of struggling with COPD, Becky was called home by her Heavenly Father where she was reunited with her parents, Laverne and Colleen Phillips as well as her brothers, Michael and Dan Phillips. She was a loving mother, a caring friend, and an inspiration to all who knew her.

Born on November 12, 1956, Becky grew up in Pocatello, Idaho, where she graduated a year early attending Highland High School. She married Robert Trujillo in 1976, and was honored with twins, a boy and a girl, Michael and Jamie Trujillo. In 1982, she found her true love. She married Kirk Hendricks, who adopted Michael and Jamie. In 1983, Kirk and Becky were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Jake Hendricks.

Becky dedicated her life to her family, always putting their needs before her own. She was an incredible source of strength, providing unwavering support and guidance to her loved ones. Her nurturing spirit and selflessness will forever serve as a cherished memory.

Aside from her role as a dedicated mother, Becky was a woman of many interests and passions. She loved the outdoors and spent time with Kirk hunting and trap shooting. Their family vacations were spent camping, fishing, and boating. She also loved spending time with her grandbabies, Tanner, Trey, Summer, Tia, and Hudson. Playing her PS4 game, Silent Scope, with her grandchildren and boyfriend, Doug Peterson, who all the grandkids called their Papa. Her favorite shows to watch were Judge Judy and Dr. Phil. Her favorite candies were M&Ms, Reece’s, and Swedish Fish. Becky’s door was always open for family to visit, stay, or live. Everyone knew they were always welcomed and loved at her home.

Becky’s memory will be forever cherished by her three children, Michael, Jamie, and Jake, whom she loved unconditionally. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and kindness that will continue to inspire others.

In honoring Becky’s life, we celebrate the incredible person she was, the love she shared, and the lasting impression she made. While she may no longer walk beside us, her spirit will forever be alive in our hearts and memories.

A memorial service to celebrate Becky’s life will be held on on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11:00 am at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID 83202. Family and friends are warmly invited to join us in paying tribute to a remarkable woman who brightened our lives in countless ways.

May Becky Lynn Hendricks rest in eternal peace, forever embraced in the loving arms of the angels above. She will forever be missed, and never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11:00 am at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID 83202.
