Barbara Barlow

Barbara Barlow, age 80, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2017 in Pocatello, Idaho. Barbara was born on August 27, 1936 in Pocatello to Jr. Britt Hargraves and Gertrude Amy Bailey. She attended schools in Pocatello; Roosevelt Grade School, Alameda Jr. High and Pocatello High School.

She became a Licensed Practical Nurse after training in the Idaho State University nursing program. After graduation she worked for several Doctors in the Pocatello area.

On May 14, 1954 she married Robert Barlow in the Idaho Falls Temple and together they have three children: Jan (Jeff) Miles, Steve (Susie) Barlow and Ken (Margie) Barlow. She is survived by; her devoted husband; her brother, David Hargraves; her children, 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Barbara was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities. She loved her family, was an excellent cook and homemaker. Through lots of practice she earned her black belt in shopping.

She was preceded in death by: her mother; her father; and 2 brothers, Britt M. & Gerald A. Hargraves.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road. Condolences may be sent to the family online at wilksfuneralhome.com.
