Audra Marie Wilhelm February 6, 1918-March 12, 2013 Audra Marie Pedersen Wilhelm, 95, returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father on March 12, 2013 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Audra was born February 6, 1918 to Joseph Daniel Pedersen and Clara Faemetta Johnson inPocatello,Idaho. Audra was one of the first babies born in the then new St.AnthonyHospital. Shortly after her birth her family moved multiple times living mostly in Utah where she spend most of her childhood; however they moved to Vernonia, Oregon during her senior year of high school. She graduated fromVernoniaHigh School, class of 1937. During her early adult life Audra lived in theSalt Lake Cityarea where she worked as the personnel manager at Woolworth's. She was an accomplished musician playing the mandolin in a local band. She also enjoyed various types of needlework. Audra married Conrad Wilhelm on May 26, 1956 inLas Vegas,Nevada. They were later sealed in theLos AngelesTempleon June 16, 1961. They moved frequently as Conrad worked in the steel construction industry, finally settling inStanton,Californiain 1967. There she worked for and retired from Mervyns Department Store. Audra was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many church callings over the years of her life including serving a stake mission. Her faith and compassion touched many lives as she selflessly cared for her family, friends, and multiple foster children. Audra is survived by her sister, LaVerda Peterson; daughter, Evelyn (Brian) Redfield; daughter-in-law, Caryn Wilhelm; and step-daughter, Marion (Malcolm)Campbell. Nine grandchildren include Christopher, Emily, Sarah, Andrew, William Jr., Cambria,Elizabeth, Jeffrey, and Lori. Four great-grandchildren include Jason,Devon, Aiden, and Mahlee. Audra was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Vanetta Smith; brother, Arlo Cartwright; husband, Conrad Wilhelm; and son, William Conrad Wilhelm. Funeral services will be held for Audra Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the L.D.S. Fredrigill Building located at 2271 S. 4 th St.,Pocatello,Idaho. Viewing will be at 9am in the Relief Society Room prior to the services at 10am. Internment will be inMidvale City Cemetery, Midvale,Utah.
