Arthur Dean Lish, 81, of Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 in Missouri. Arthur was born on June 9, 1933 in Pocatello, Idaho to Marion and Viola Lish. He was the youngest of 4 children; Ralph, Paul, Erma, and Arthur. He was home schooled by his parents. Arthur was never married. He worked at a vocational center in Missouri making arts and crafts and earning his own money to buy gifts and cards for those he loved. He was very robust and loved life, living it to its fullest. He was affiliated with the LDS Church in his younger years. He loved playing Chinese checkers, regular checkers, chess and making Balsa wood airplanes which he hung from his ceiling. He also loved the old record players, particularly stories on 78s. He loved, and was one of the St. Louis Cardinal Baseball teams biggest fan. Harry Caray always got him going and he liked to do impressions of Mr. Caray. "Holy Cow!" was his favorite one. Arthur loved his ice cream and any fruit filled pie. He was loved and will be missed by many. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, and many loving and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Viola; two brothers, Ralph and Paul; one sister, Irma; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, May 4, 2015 from 1-2 pm at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID with a graveside service to follow at 2:15 pm at Mountain View Cemetery (39 West), 1520 S. 5th Ave. Pocatello, ID 83204.
