Armando was such a sweet little boy who captured everyone's heart. He spent 2 ½ months in the Primary Children's Medical Center NICU due to multiple congenital anomalies before being allowed to come home. Armando was a fighter, he was so strong and brave from the very beginning. He endured 17 surgeries over the years and multiple hospital stays throughout his life.
Armando loved his family, the outdoors, basketball and football. Armando generally cared for all and did not judge anyone. He had an awesome sense of humor and found pleasure in getting a rise out of anyone he could.
Armando graduated early from James Madison High School in 2018 during his stay at Centennial Job Corps in Boise, Idaho. While there, he earned several certificates, including Bloodborne Pathogen Training, CPR, Food Handler, Therapeutic Options Training, and Basic Leadership Training. This was an accomplishment that he was very proud of, as was his family.
Armando was very proud and protective of his little sister, Samira. He loved to tease her, play games and take crazy pictures with filters of them both. She loved every minute of his obnoxiousness. As did all who knew him.
Armando grew to be a young man who influenced many. Most recently, he resided at the Victory Home Restoration Center in Burley Idaho where he studied the bible and made the decision to be baptized as a Christian. The guys that grew to know him the last few months felt that he was a blessing to have in the program.
Armando loved to spend time with his countless family members over the years, he had a huge family and made connections with many. He touched everybody's heart in his own unique way. Everyone knew a different part of him, he was a very special person from the first breath he took to his last.
