Arlene Mae Mitani, age 69, died on June 5, 2009 at her residence in Chubbuck, Idaho. Arlene was born on July 5, 1939 in Pocatello, Idaho the daughter of James Curtis Josephine Lucille (Wells) Willson. Arlene resided in Pocatello all most all her life. She attended Pocatello High School. She worked at the Barkalow newsstand and snack counter in the train depot. Later, she began employment for St. Anthony Community Hospital for seven years and continued working in housekeeping at Bannock Hospital for an additional 20 years. Arlene met Henry W. Mitani at Tough Guy Lanes in the spring of 1980 and after a summer time of courtship was married on December 20, 1980 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hanks sisters June, Aki, Mickey were the witnesses. She was a 40 year member of the Eagles and held most of the offices in the organization. Arlene enjoyed bowling, and loved to go on trips to Yellowstone Island Park as well as to Las Vegas and Los Angeles visiting relatives and friends. She liked to play Keno slots on the way to visiting her family. She also loved puzzles dancing, and enjoyed watching her family and friends having fun. She is survived husband, Henry W. Mitani; 5 sons, Nelson (Patty) Parsons of Pocatello, ID, Dwayne Mitani of Pocatello, ID, Mickey (Susan) Mitani of Belleview, NE, David Mitani of Pocatello, ID, Marvin Mitani of Pocatello, ID; one daughter, Phillis (Jeff) Henson of Pocatello, ID; sister, Sandy (Gene) Pickens of Chubbuck, ID; Two brothers, Jim (terri) Willson and Terry
