Ardith Whited

Ardith LaRae Whited was called home to her heavenly father March 14, 2013. Born June 19, 1935, Ardith was the Oldest of Seven Children born to Fairold and Amee Harris. At the age of 14 Ardith meet and married Leman Whited on Nov. 17, 1949. Along with her husband of 60 years, Ardith ran L&A Concrete. In 1966 the couple was blessed with their only child Dustin Leman Whited. The years of 1988 and 1989 made her a very proud grandma of Justin Leman Whited and Loran Elizabeth Whited. Thru the years she enjoyed bowling on several women's leagues; watching her family play soft ball; following the grandkids in 4-h, FFA, Idaho Junior Rodeo, and High school Rodeo. The last several years, her favorite activities were taking family to garage sales on Saturday mornings, as well as going to steak night at the 5 mile Inn and going to exercise class at the Senior Citizen Center with Bill and Maxine Wall. Adrith will be missed and treasured by her son Dusty (Holly) Whited of American Falls, Grandson Justin (Kandy) Whited of Chubbuck, Granddaughter Loran Whited of Pocatello, Sister Patricia (Bill) Garrett of American Falls, and many nieces and nephews which she loved deeply. She will be united in heaven with her husband Leman Whited; parents Fairold and Amee Harris; sisters LaVern Harris and Faye Blair; brothers Daniel Harris, Clinton Harris, and Horrance LaVar Harris. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday March 29, 2013 at Colonial Funeral Home in Pocatello. Interment will be in the Falls View Cemetery in American Falls.
