April Jean Kelley

April Jean Morse Kelley, 66, passed away on July 11, 2022. She was born on September 15, 1955 to Alfred James Morse Jr. and Betty Rose Carter in San Diego, CA. April had two older siblings, Richard and Candice and a younger sister, Teresa.

She spent her early years in California and her later years in Florida and New York, settling in Idaho to be closer to family.

April worked in the restaurant industry as a waitress for several years. She was divorced and the love of her life was her daughter, Rose. April was a wonderful cook, a gifted seamstress and had a beautiful singing voice. She loved helping others and she loved her family. April had a big heart, made friends easily and will be missed greatly.

A special thank you to her friend and neighbor, Claudia Peterson, who was always there for her.

April is survived by her daughter, Rose Winthers; sister, Candice Symons of Lava Hot Springs, ID; and sister, Teresa Morse of Pocatello, ID.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Carter; father, Alfred James Morse, Jr.; and her brother, Richard White.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
