It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony Allan Rickard (Pulley), born July 10, 1989, who left us too soon on January 16, 2025, at the age of 35.

Anthony was a loving father brother son nephew friend most of all he was a loving father to five beautiful children: Maddison, Ryhland, Charlie, Baker, and Georgia Rickard. He was the beloved son of Tony Allan Pulley and Heidi Rickard (White), and the cherished brother to Donna, his older sister, Skyler, his "little big brother"; and Patrick, his baby brother. Anthony was also a proud stepbrother to many. Growing up in Pocatello, Idaho, Anthony developed a love for the outdoors and the thrill of adventure. Whether it was swimming, boating, jet skiing, tubing, camping, dirt biking, four-wheeling, or snowmobiling in the winter, Anthony was always eager to be outside, embracing life with passion. But what he loved most was racing at Pocatello Speedway with his father, Tony, and his Aunt Darla his cousin Trevor Pickens, Brother Skyler Pulley, The races were a family tradition, and Anthony shared many cherished memories of weekends spent cheering on his father, who often took first place. 

In 2004, Anthony and his high school sweetheart Jordan Bruce fell in love and got married in 2010, where they had started a family together. Their bond was solidified with the arrival of their first daughter, Maddison, in 2008, followed by Rhylund in 2010 Charlie, 2012 and Baker Rickard in 2016. Their family was a true blessing Anthony’s kids one of many favorite memories with their father is driving in the car listening to driving down a backroad and going to eat at arctic circle. But the thing Anthony’s kid’s will cherish and miss forever is his hugs he always gave big tight hugs they said and his beautiful eyes how they lit up wherever he was. 

  • In 2017, Anthony’s joy expanded with the birth of his youngest daughter, Georgia Rickard. 

  • Anthony was a dedicated Juvenile Probation Officer, a profession he was deeply proud of and where he made a lasting impact on the community. He had a sharp mind and worked tirelessly to support the youth he served. Anthony also graduated the police academy, His family could not have been more proud of his accomplishments and the person he had become. 

  • Anthony shared a special bond with his Aunt Darla, who was like a second mother to him. Their relationship was one of unconditional love, and she played a pivotal role in his life. They say you always have that one aunt who can love you like your mother, Anthony was also deeply connected to his extended family and friends, who will forever hold his memory close. 

  • Anthony is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Donna Wood Pulley and Ellen, and his great-grandmother, Viola Wood. And step father Jeremy White.

  • He is survived by his kids Maddison, Rhylund, Charlie, Baker & Georgia. His parents, Anthony Allen Pulley (Tony) and Heidi Rickard (White) step dad Richard whitmer and his Aunt Darla/Rick , uncle Ron, his aunt Julie Jensen and his siblings, Donna Marie Millar, Skyler Eric Pulley, and Patrick Allen Whitmer his brother-in-law, Mitchell Millar, uncle, Erick Rickard, cousins Bailey, Stephen, Joey, Marian, and Bobbie. also many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved him dearly. Though Anthony’s life was short, his impact was immense. He will be loved, missed, and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His infectious spirit, love for life, and devotion to his family will never be forgotten. 

  • Song of Solomon 8:6-7 says, "Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is strong as death, longing is fierce as Sheol. Its arrows are arrows of fire, flames of the divine. Deep waters cannot quench love, nor rivers sweep it away". 
  • A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck ID.  A viewing will be held one hour prior beginning at 1:00 pm.
