Anna Marie Gregersen Coffin, much loved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend passed from this life on September 27, 2022, in Pocatello, Idaho.
Ann was born July 6, 1938, to Elna Lowe and Christian Gregersen in Tyhee, Idaho. In her early grade school years, Ann's family moved to Banida, ID, where she built a strong bond with all her cousins, and that relationship has continued throughout her life. Ann moved to Pocatello, ID, during her junior year and graduated from Pocatello High School. Ann married Blaine Dee Coffin on January 18, 1958. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 26, 1967.
Blaine and Ann had three children together: Kevin (Kathy) Coffin, Debbie (deceased), and Deanne Coffin.
When Blaine and Ann married, Ann inherited and helped raise four children: Ben (Nancy) Coffin, Doug (Sharon) Coffin - Chris (Brent) Manning, and Shanna (Bob) Thomas. Ann was particularly devoted to her granddaughter Camary and her great-grandson Emmit. She has 19 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren. Ann is now reunited with her husband, Blaine, and her daughter, Debbie.
Ann was a hard worker who loved working in her yard and planting flowers. She painted several homes and apartments that Blaine built. Ann liked working in fashion for the Paris, ZCMI, the Bon, and Macy's. She also enjoyed traveling to Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Tahiti, and Hawaii.
Ann devotedly cared for her husband, Blaine, for ten years before he was taken by Alzheimer's disease. True to her strength and devoted nature, Ann never complained or was demanding during her final struggle with cancer and other complications. Our family would like to thank everyone who helped care for Ann during her last few months.
