Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, Ann Beach passed away in her Pocatello home on Wednesday October 10, 2012 at the age of 93.
Ann was born on October 18, 1918 in Lordsburg, New Mexico. She was the only child of Eric Taylor York Cloudt of Kimble County, Texas and Zula Vivian Wright of Lordsburg, New Mexico. She had many other jobs, mostly book keeping and office managing in construction and retail. She even ran a restaurant at one point. On June 15th, 1946 she married Thomas A. Beach, in Silver City, New Mexico. During her married years she enjoyed camping with her family, cooking and sewing. Later in life she kept her mind sharp by doing the daily crossword in the newspaper. Ann enjoyed fast cars, driving both a mustang and thunderbird at different periods of her life. She modeled for a period of time in Long Beach California. In 1982 at the age of 66 she earned her real estate license.
