Andrea Carol Hall, 63, of Pocatello, Idaho won her battle against Parkinson’s Disease on April 3, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.
Andrea was born on February 20, 1961 in Preston, Idaho to Kay Winston Hall and Carol Dean Gleed Hall. Andrea was the 9th child out of 10 children born to Kay and Carol. She grew up surrounded by the love and adventure of siblings and countless friends in Malad, Downey, and Inkom, Idaho. She attended Marsh Valley High School and Idaho State University.
Andrea worked a variety of jobs to include 5th Ave. Truck Stop, Elmers, and Snake River Electronics. She owned the Mason Jar Bar for a few years, and then would complete her work experience with Heinz/Amy’s Kitchen.
On October 28, 1976, Andrea gave birth to her beautiful daughter Camillia. Camillia and Andrea shared a bond like few others. Not only were they mother and daughter, but they were also the best of friends. In September of 1995 Andrea would gain a new title, “Grandma.” Andrea embraced her new role with ferocity. She went on to welcome three more grandbabies over the next ten years. She spent many years helping raise her grandchildren and supporting them at their many sporting events and choir performances. Andrea never missed the opportunity to cheer loud and proud for her grandbabies.
In November of 2001 Andrea met the love of her life, Kevin Chesler. Kevin and Andrea went on to build many special memories over the next 22 years. They loved adventure and good music. When Andrea fell in love with Kevin, she gained 3 more children that she embraced and loved as her own. Andrea and Kevin would go on to be the most loving and supportive grandparents anyone could ask for.
Andrea enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, canning, camping, fishing, and hunting. We will always think of Andrea when we take trips to Jackpot, Nevada or even just going to the Fort Hall Casino. Many Saturday mornings were spent waking up early and going treasure hunting with her brothers and sisters. She always looked forward to the annual family reunion.
Andrea is survived by her daughter, Camillia Kiechler; grandchildren, Aaron (KaEira) Cornwall, Adrian (Kaylee) Cornwall, Alexandrea Cornwall, and Emmalee Kiechler; great-grandchildren, TahNelly, Jakoby, Baylor, and Baby Cornwall (due in June); the love of her life, Kevin Chesler, and his children, Josh (Danielle), Danielle (Jeremy), and Rhonda (Jake); her other eight grandchildren, Kaira, Kailey, Kaden, Dominyk, Gwenivere, Rocco, Geno, and Camri Jo; Andrea’s sisters, Christina Pfiefer, Gina Otteson, Sheila Hall, Jackie (John) Pechin; and her baby brother, Brad (Denice) Hall; not to mention countless nieces and nephews.
Andrea was preceded in death by her father, Kay Hall, mother, Carol Gleed Hall, brothers, Dennis Hall, Greg Hall, and Randy Hall, two sisters, Cindy Gleed and Tawnya Hall, and her niece, Tina Vallez; all waiting to embrace her on the other side. But, without a doubt, the very first soul she saw was her ornery old chihuahua Hannah.
Our family would like to send out our heartfelt appreciation for all the love and support we have received from everyone. Friends and family from near and far have been by our side through this wild ride. We would like to thank the staff at Portneuf Medical Center for providing such great care in our times of need. We would also like to thank the staff at Gateway Assisted Living, and a special thank you for the staff at Advanced Home Health for loving and caring for Andrea until the very end. You are all like family to us now and we will never forget your professionalism and compassion.
