Alvino Artalejo

Alvino Artalejo, age 89, passed away on December 17, 2018 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was born June 16, 1929 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose Marie Artalejo and Noclaza Artalejo. He was one of twelve children. He met his wife in elementary school and later married her at the age of 20. They lived in Mexico and raised their five children there. They later moved in 2005 to Pocatello, Idaho to be close to their children and grandchildren.

Alvino and Pabla had 5 children: Ismael (Damaris) Artalejo of Las Vegas, NV, Esther (Rick) Norton of Bedord, TX., Dora (Carlos) Garcia of Idaho Falls, ID, Alvino (Marisela) Artalejo of Boise, ID. and Myrna (Ralph) Daniels of Chubbuck, Idaho. They have 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

Surviving are all his 5 children and spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Pabla, his parents, siblings and grandson Derek Norton

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 4600 Victory Avenue in Chubbuck, Idaho. Family will receive friends at a viewing one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will follow services at the Mountain View Cemetery.
