Alta Bowman Heath

Alta LaRay Bowman Heath, 77, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at her home in Inkom. She was the 4 th child born on July 31, 1940, to Harold and Mary Taysom. She married Don Bowman Jr. on November 1, 1960. They had three children, Don, Lori and Jeffery. After dad passed away on October 21, 1995, 10 years later, she met Howard Newill, a dear friend. He passed away a short time later. Then on July 14, 2008, she married her last love, Clem Jay Heath. He took care of her until her death. She is survived by her husband, Clem; children, Donald Clay (Sue) Bowman, Lori Ann (David) Fielder and Jeffery Douglas (January) Bowman, all of Pocatello; brother, Ray (Debbie) Taysom, Inkom; sisters, Shirley (David) Davis, Pocatello, and Lela Mooney, American Falls. Alta had 7 grandchildren, Jennifer, (who she is now reunited with), Tiffany, Melissa, Brandon, Ricki, Ryan and Race. She also had 6 great-grandchildren, Rylie, Tristan, Stetson, Makayla, Cheyanne and Jaxon. Alta is preceded in death by her husband, Don Bowman, Jr.; parents, Harold and Mary Taysom, parents-in-law, Don and Fon Bowman; granddaughter, Jennifer Sue Bowman; sisters, Vida Timothy, Mert Hedstrom; and brothers-in-law, Lavar Timothy, Gene Hedstrom and Ken Mooney. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11 am also at Colonial Funeral Home, with a viewing for one hour prior. Burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, ID.
