Allen Lee Bartholomew

Allen Lee Bartholomew. Born November 8, 1940 Passed away February 2, 2016 at his home in Chubbuck,ID.

Al was the first son born to Evelyn Bruns and Lee Bartholomew in San Diego, California. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He graduated from high school in San Diego, California and attended college in Ventura, California. Al was also a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Vietnam War.

Al married Carolyn J Richardson in Riverside, California in 1963. Al was blessed with three beautiful daughters; Janet, Pamala, and Cynthia. Al and Carolyn later divorced.

He enjoyed fishing, watching football, NASCAR, and playing computer games.

Al is survived by his daughters; Janet Bartholomew of Portland, Oregon, Pamala Colling (Tim) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Cynthia Bartholomew of Pocatello, Idaho, his grandchildren; Marquee Rasmuson (Kevin), Madison Fero (Cody), Kaitlyn Wells, and Matthew Bartholomew. Tymberlee Rasmuson is his only great-grandchild. He is also survived by his brothers Kelly of Boise, Idaho, Ken of Maryland, and Mike of California and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Graveside services for Al will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello, Idaho. Military rites will be given by the Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID.
