Alcindia Lattimer

September 5, 1962 — January 21, 2024

Alcindia Mary Lattimer was born on September 5, 1962 in Aberdeen, Washington to Claude and Carole Ford.

Alcindia was blessed with her son, Cai Lattimer on June 4, 1992. Mom worked very hard to put herself through college, she graduated from Centralia college with a Computer Science degree in 1995. Mom and Cai moved to Idaho in 1998 to a little town called American Falls. This little town is where mom found the love of her life, Barry Lattimer, while sharing their love for music one night at Karaoke. Little did she know that Barry offered a much bigger package than she could even imagine, which included 9 children and so many grandchildren, that she cherished greatly. Having her family increase by leaps and bounds would be a challenge for anyone, but Cindy rose to meet them. She always tried to find each child a little niche in her heart and made sure each felt they had a place to come home to. Whether it was family gatherings, times of need, or just to chit chat.

Grandchildren, however, were another thing altogether. She would go to great lengths to be around them. It could be just having them over for the hour, meal, or to stay the night. She enjoyed showing up to functions they had (sports, recitals, graduations) and you could be sure she was dressed to impress if she was feeling up to it. She was a grandma to the core and would make sure her grandkids had what they needed and knew they were loved.

Alcindia is survived by her brothers, Bob Dionne, and Richard Dionne; sisters, Tammy Ford, Vicky Ford, and Cathy Bowman; children, Cai and Alee Lattimer, Bob and Donna Duram, Jeremy Lattimer, Russell and Sarah Lattimer, Jessica and Jon Conn, Tosha and Steve Christensen, Richard and Jaimie Lattimer, Danielle Lattimer Cragun, and Kerry Lattimer; and her many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Carole Ford; and her husband, Barry Lattimer.

Funeral services will not be held as per her wishes; however a celebration of life will be held in her honor at a later date.

She will be laid to rest in the Inkom cemetery, next to her husband.
