Airess Sandoval

November 19, 1994 — March 4, 2025

Pocatello

Airess Grace Sandoval made a dramatic entrance into this world (quite literally) born in an ambulance on November 19, 1994, in Poplar, Montana, on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. It was only fitting that someone so bold and unforgettable would make such an entrance.

Airess was many things, a sister, daughter, wife, and friend, but above all, she was a force of nature, leaving laughter and love wherever she went. She grew up alongside her siblings, Zach, Mikayla, and Blu Hamilton. She loved them fiercely which was often expressed through relentless teasing and playful pranks. She had a gift for making people laugh, and her sharp wit and mischievous spirit meant there was never a dull moment when she was around. She had a deep love for horror movies, a passion that she used to her advantage when scaring her siblings at just the right moment.

Her sense of humor and love of fun extended to her marriage with Carlos Sandoval. After 4 years together, they were married on August 22, 2019. They were best friends and soulmates in every way. Whether they were talking for hours, taking long drives, laughing over the little things, they found joy in simply being together.

Airess had a soft spot for her three cats, J’zargo (Fat Boy), Oreo (Chunky Butt), and Mia (Mamas). Once when asked if she had any hobbies she replied that her hobby was taking funny videos of her cats. She also loved to play tennis with her dad, Mike Hamilton. Though let’s be honest, it was less about the game and more about the inside jokes, quality time, and love that filled those moments.

In her final days, Airess battled complications from Lupus with the same strength and stubbornness that defined her. By her side as always, was her mother, Sunni Crawford. The one person she always knew would be there, no matter what. And in the end, Sunni kept that promise, never leaving her side.

When the heartbreaking news of her passing spread, her family rushed to be with her. In her final moments she was wrapped in love with her family as they held her close until she took her last breath on March 4th, 2025 at 12:14 AM.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Carlos Sandoval; her mother, Sunni Crawford; her father, Mike Hamilton; her siblings, Zach, Mikayla, and Blu Hamilton; and her 3 cats. She also leaves behind countless family members and friends who will forever carry her laughter and love in their hearts.

Airess’s story doesn’t end here. It lives on in every shared memory, every inside joke, and every moment of joy and laughter she brought into the world. She was a gift and a light and that’s exactly how we’ll remember her.
