Sharon Fromm

Sharon Stahle Fromm passed away peacefully in Pocatello, Idaho, on March 13, 2024 at the age of 81, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. Born in Lovell, Wyoming on January 27, 1943 to Ralph Stahle and Veoma McArthur, Sharon lived a life dedicated to love, service, and devotion to her faith and family.

Growing up in Wyoming, Sharon enjoyed an active childhood. From an early age, she excelled at playing the piano, organ, and French horn. During her high school years, she participated in band, cheerleading, and 4-H, showcasing her diverse talents and interests. After earning her degree from Brigham Young University in 1965, Sharon moved to Billings, Montana for a teaching position. It was there she met her future husband, Donald Fromm.

Sharon and Donald were married in the Salt Lake Temple on May 31, 1968. Together, they were blessed with six children, whom they raised with love, faith, and a commitment to service. Sharon’s enduring legacy is her family, to whom she imparted the values of kindness, hard work, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and His Gospel.

Sharon was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served diligently in numerous callings, including ward and stake Relief Society presidencies, ward organist, temple ordinance worker, and FamilySearch Library worker. She also served for eight years as a church service missionary with her husband.

Sharon was known for her colorful flower gardens, musical talents, and indomitable spirit. She blessed the lives of her family and neighbors by teaching piano lessons for many years and serving as a 4-H leader. Sharon was an incredible homemaker and loved gardening and crocheting blankets for her children and grandchildren. She was an avid student of the gospel throughout her life and dedicated her later years to family history research and temple work.

Sharon is survived by her devoted husband, Donald; her children Shauna (Bruce), Kevin (Malinda), Bradley (Brenda), Sherry (Chad), Deanna (Todd), and Brian (Lindsey); a sister, Linda; and 22 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Veoma; two siblings, Glenna and Robert; and a grandson, Alexander.

A viewing for family and friends will take place on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 9:00 - 9:45 am at the church located at 2000 South Fairway Drive, Pocatello, Idaho. Funeral services will commence on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 10:00 am at the same location, followed by interment at the Highland City Cemetery in Highland, Utah.

Sharon’s life was a testament to her faith, her devotion to family, and her commitment to serving others. Her light and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
