Nathan Tad Richardson, 30, of Pocatello, ID passed away the early morning of June 24th, 2017. He was a loving son, brother, cousin, uncle, fiancé and friend.
Nate was born on February 5th, 1987, in Pocatello, ID to Tad and Christine Richardson. He grew up in Pocatello, ID where he graduated from Highland High School in 2005. He graduated from Idaho State University with an Advanced Technical Certificate in Welder-Fitter on December 16, 2016. He proudly worked as a welder for VTCU in Pocatello.
Nate made his home in Pocatello, ID where he enjoyed welding, hunting, fishing, camping, anything outdoors and being surrounded by his loving family and many friends. The women in his life held the deepest parts of his heart. For Christine, Donna, Judi, Carol, Chay, Cassie and Chloe, there wasn't a mountain he wouldn't move. He had a knack for making new friends, no matter the time or place, and turning them into lifelong bonds that will never be broken. His family and his friends were his everything. He was everyone's Gentle Giant.
He is survived by his mother Christine Turner (Tracy Turner), father Tad Richardson (Donna Richardson), sister ChayAnne Crew (Scott Crew), brother Andrew Richardson, brother Brandon Rueb (Sandy Rueb), grandmother Judy Robinson, grandmother Carol Jones, fiancé Cassandra Sorensen , stepdaughter Chloe Castro and stepson Anthony Castro.
He was preceded in death by his sister's father and dear friend Brent Barfuss, grandfather Monte Jones, great-grandmother Laurel Wilkinson, great-grandfather Ren Wilkinson, great-grandmother Muggs Sato, and great-grandfather Steve Sato.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday July 1st, at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Rd, Pocatello, ID 83202. The family will visit with friends from 1:00pm to 1:45pm prior to the funeral services. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you donate to the Nate Richardson Memorial account (#715864734) at Idaho Central Credit Union. This will be used to donate to victims of violent crimes.
