Kristy Kaye Dolechek

December 20, 1956 — October 24, 2009

Kristy Kaye Hainline Dolechek, 52 returned home to her Father in Heaven and the loving arms of her waiting family on October 24, 2009.

Kristy was born in Burley, Idaho, on December 20, 1956 to Joyce Bath Hainline and Leonard Hainline. Her family moved to Lava Hot Springs when she was in the 2nd Grade, from California, and Lava is where she grew up. She was active in cheerleading, the pep club, and the debate team. She spent her entire life loving water. She was lifeguard at the local pool, she taught swimming lessons, and she was a beautiful diver. She carried the love of water onto her children and her grandchildren; and enjoyed swimming with them throughout their lives.

Kris married Edd Barnes, of Downey, Idaho. Together they had 4 children, their first born died shortly after birth. They were later divorced. She later married Lonnie Cellan, of Soda Springs, Idaho. Along with raising her 3 children, they raised a fourth child. They were later divorced. Kris married James Keith Dolechek, of Chubbuck, Idaho. They were married 16 years. Along with their deep love for each other, they had a love of travel and had many great adventures together.

Kristy graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1993. She had a love and passion for medicine and has helped so many people with her great skills and compassion. Kris spent a lot of those years working in labor and delivery. She has received numerous thank you notes and gifts from former patients that she has helped through the years and her family has always been so proud of her when they would be approached by numerous people from the public to let them know how wonderful she was.

Kristy is survived by her mother, Joyce Bath Hainline; her 4 children, 2 daughters, Mandy Barnes (Danny) Kendall of Chubbuck, Idaho; Stephanie Barnes (Ina) Afamasaga of Soda Springs, Idaho; 2 sons, Landon (Darcy) Barnes of Pocatello, Idaho; and Chase Cellan of Denver, Colorado; one sister Colleen (Bruce) Hansen of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho; 2 brothers Donny Hainline of Lava Hot Springs, Ed (Lisa) Hainline of McCammon, Idaho; 10 grandchildren; 2 aunts and one uncle; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kris was preceded in death by her father, Leonard “Frog” Hainline; a daughter Bren Kristine Barnes; a grandson, Alii Uso Afamasaga; a sister Catherine Hainline; a brother Kenny Hainline; and a nephew, Jason Hainline.

Kris has always been so proud and has loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart. She will be greatly missed by so many people.
