Dianne D. Kline, age 80, of Pocatello, ID, formerly of Minnetonka, MN, passed away on March 25, 2024. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert, and mother, Dolores Denzer. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert “Bob” Kline; son, Justin Kline; daughter, Vickie (Jason) Degenstein; brother, Gary (LeeAnn) Denzer, and a dozen nieces and nephews. Per her request, no funeral service will be held. There will be a gathering of family and friends in the near future.
Dianne was a very energetic wife, mother, community volunteer, artist, and Master Gardener. She grew up in St. Louis Park, MN. She spent the summers on the family farm in Ogilvie, MN where she learned how to cook from her grandmother. This is where she developed her love for most things that have four feet. Here she rode pigs, cows, and her favorite horse, Silvana “Silly.” Here she became an excellent marksman with a .22. She graduated from the Minneapolis School of Art and Design. She was the co-chairwoman for the Mount Sinai Ball, and taught art appreciation to children in the Hopkins MN public schools. She headed up the decoration committees for the Minnesota State Historical Society and chaired the annual Groves School Dinner Fundraiser. She loved her card groups, loved playing cards. She raised orchids and many other plants and flowers and she was and American Iris Society Judge.
