Anne L. Brower

Anne Lee Harris Brower, 82, peacefully passed away on November 20, 2023, in Pocatello, ID, with her son Preston and daughter-in-law Debra Brower by her side. She was born to Oliver Khalil and Malinda Mae Harris on December 11, 1940, in Pocatello, ID.

Anne spent countless hours driving the family's hay truck as a child. After graduating high school, Anne started working at a hardware store in Chubbuck, ID. There, she met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Clyde Brower. After getting married, Anne and Bob discovered their shared passion for the outdoors, which led them to Buckskin Road in Pocatello, ID. They constructed their home entirely by hand on a four-acre plot and developed close bonds with their neighbors, who became like family to them. Anne dedicated herself to caring for their four children as a loving homemaker.

Anne will always be remembered for her strong will and stubbornness, but she also had an enormous heart and a witty sense of humor. She had fond memories of her horse, Dundy, and shared many stories about riding around the hills of Buckskin. Anne was an avid Pinochle player and made many close friends through the game.

Anne's husband, parents, along with her siblings Rodney, Clifton, Afton, and her daughter-in-law Cindy Brower, were eagerly awaiting her at the gates of Heaven. Anne is survived by her sister, Kay (Jay) Tillotson, and her four sons: Tim Brower, Bob (Annette) Brower, Todd Brower, and Preston (Debra) Brower. She also leaves behind six grandchildren: Skylar (Jamie) Brower, Tori (Christian) Carballo, Calista (Brian) Budrow, Joseph Brower, Jay (Heather) Combs, and Amanda (Taron) Buffat, as well as eight great-grandchildren.

We want to express our heartfelt appreciation to Anne's friends and neighbors for their unwavering help and dedication. We also thank Candice Poulson and her team at Copper Summit Assisted Living Center for their incredible support. We are eternally grateful to the entire Heritage Home Health and Hospice staff for their kind and compassionate care.

Anne's life will be celebrated Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 4:00 PM at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Rd, Chubbuck, ID 83202, with a reception and picture showcase to follow the service. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
